CITA Recommendation 5, Revision 1 on “Inspection of L- Category Vehicles
CITA Working Group 6 reviewed its content and the Recommendation now provides up-to-date and detailed information for L-category vehicles, for example two and three wheeled vehicles, for minimum inspection requirements during mandatory periodic inspections of road vehicles with regard to items to be tested, the used testing method and principal reasons for rejection with respect to their defects level categorisation into minor, major and dangerous defects. The numbering used in Directive 96/96/EC has also been introduced.
CITA Recommendation 15 on “European Database for PTI Purposes”
CITA Working Group 2 has developed this new CITA Recommendation with the aim to become the technical record of each vehicle during its life to be applied at European level for PTI purposes. Data may be introduced when the vehicle is manufactured, registered, modified or at any other appropriate event in its lifespan.
CITA Recommendation 17 on “Role of Supervisory Bodies for Vehicle Inspection Operators under CITA R9B”
CITA Working Group 3 developed this new CITA Recommendation to provide further guidance to supervising bodies in order to harmonize the quality supervision approach according to the general quality provisions laid down in Directive 96/96/EC, Art. 2 and National acts.
