The 2013 CITA General Assembly and Conference will be held in Seville, Spain on 15-17 May 2013

In recent years, CITA Conferences have attracted over 300 specialists and policy-makers from all regions of the world. As such, these conferences have developed into a unique opportunity to share insights, experience and knowledge on in-service vehicle inspections and roadworthiness enforcement. We are looking forward to welcoming again many former participants together with newcomers, setting again a recordbreaking number of delegates.
THE CITY and Venue
Seville is the artistic, cultural and financial capital of southern Spain with a city population of just over 700,000, making it Spain’s fourth largest city. The wealth of history in Seville combined with its modern architecture makes it an inspiring city to visit. Seville tourist information

THE Co-hosting Organisations
AECA-ITV is the Spanish association representing 54 organisations performing mandatory periodical technical inspections (PTI) of in-use vehicles in Spain. Note "ITV" is Spanish for "PTI".
VEIASA is an Andalusian government company established in 1990. It manages all PTI stations of Andalusia of which there are 54 stations with a total of 182 inspection lines.
THE Theme and Topics
Over 40 speakers from International Regulatory Bodies, Administrators, Operators, Vehicle Inspection Equipment Manufacturers and more, will provide you with information on current best practice and future vision on the theme, sub-themes and workshop topics.

The Theme "Strategies for Benefiting Roadworthiness".
Three sub-themes will be covered in moderated plenary sessions:
- Challenges of new technologies for technical inspections
- Making PTI more attainable for developing countries
- Type approval and PTI/RSI standards; an integrated approach for the future
Three interactive workshops will cover the two first sub-themes, and "Advances in Test Equipment".
